The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
